Avatar size

...and I don't mean big blue aliens. Having tried downsizing an image to use as an avatar, with the 6kB size & 80x80 pixel restriction, the results are TINY!! I have given up in frustration. Any suggestions?

I bumped it up to 120x120 with a size of 50kb. Note that you can always make a signature which can include graphics. In your user control panel under the Profile tab there is an option for "Edit Signature". You can include a graphic which is hosted somewhere. If you need someplace to host an image I can save it on the server and you can link to that.
