Layton Art Gallery A two story public art gallery split into four halls within. The exterior was a peculiar mix of Greek, Egyptian and Roman styles finished in gray stone. The building was a donation to the city by philanthropist Frederick Layton. The building was designed by a London architect but E T Mix was the associate architect who superintended the construction.
