As you can see, the main page has added some content. I have placed a link to my Flickr page on the left. I have also placed direct links to some great online reference documents on Milwaukee history. Do your research from home instead of going down to the Historical Society. Other pages are being developed and we hope to have searchable access to the downtown historic building database soon.

1958 Aerial
This is an aerial view of the block between 2nd, 3rd, Wisconsin and Michigan with several of the buildings identified. This block has been changed over to the Grand Avenue Mall in 1981 so quite a few of the buildings have been demolished.
Spring Street
A view looking east on Spring Street or as it became known as Grand Avenue and then Wisconsin Avenue. This was a winter scene prior to 1875 with the new Plankinton Hotel on the right.
